This is clearly the best design.

I love this layout. It seems to be the perfect combination of large and small group study areas. Plus, plenty of desks and separation/partitions between those desks. It seems to still be open (how can it not with the beautiful architecture of the library), but not so open that it is distracting. I would definitely not be disappointed if I saw these renovations.

I can see a lot of work has been put into all the designs, and it's a hard decision to make. However, this design gets my vote. I think it's better not to necessarily replicate a coffee house atmosphere in a library since we already have that space downstairs. This design seems like it would provide a lot of space of working, and I believe that arranging the tables diagonally responds will to placements of the entrances while breaking the monotony. Good work!

This one has an interesting layout that is not too choppy but still incorporates plenty of table area. My vote is with this one.

This layout gives a better selection of different group seating arrangements and for me is therefore preferable.

This design gets my vote. Easily, in fact.
